SimpleSAMLphp

SimpleSAMLphp is an application written in native PHP that deals with authentication. It provides Single Sign-On, Federated identity, and uses Web services and other industry standards. SimpleSAMLphp can be used as both a SAML Service Provider and a SAML Identity Provider. SimpleSAMLphp allows for scalable authentication, from only a few users to hundreds of thousands. SimpleSAMLphp allows Single Sign On (SSO), removing the burden of authentication and identity management - and allowing for more secure environments where service providers can focus on what they want to do, provide a service, delegation authentication and identity management to others.
