Regional representatives
Regional Representatives drive forward the mission of NGI Zero for R&D, funding, and the adoption of free and open-source technologies. They help to better understand and address the needs of specific regions or countries.
The representatives have a dual role: to engage local communities and invite them to participate in the NGI Zero programmes and as a promotor of the open technological building blocks within the existing NGI Zero portfolio.
There are currently five regional NGI Zero representatives:

Interested in becoming a regional representative?
NGI Zero partner, Brno University of Technology currently has multiple job openings for regional representatives. Know someone that could be interested - tip them off (or maybe it is something that you might take up yourself?) Note that it is a requirement that you live in the region you wish to represent, and only the following countries are eligible:
As defined in the Horizon Europe regulation the widening countries Member States are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The widening Associated countries (on condition of an association agreement) are Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine. The widening outermost regions are: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Mayotte Saint-Martin, The Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands.
