EUDI Wallet/eIDAS 2.0 support in pac4j Java security framework
Pac4j is an easy to use, generic security framework that can be used across the Java ecosystem. Its security concepts are deliberately restricted to two main use cases: securing web applications and web services (although everything can still be customized by code). Pac4j integrates out of the box with the most popular security frameworks (like Spring Security and Shiro). Many specific implementations exist for the most popular development frameworks (like JEE, Spring Boot, Play framework, Vert.x, etc.). The core logic lives in a unified security engine (< 100k lines of code) which deals exclusively with security concepts and protocols, independent of any specific framework. This project will implement two specifications that are needed to support the EUDI Wallet/eIDAS protocols, and make these available across the Java ecosystem.
