Slintify LibrePCB 2.0
Add missing features to Slint UI toolkit to accommodate demanding applications
Slint is a Rust-based alternative to the C++ based Qt toolkit, building on the same conceptual grounds but providing a type-safe and leaner alternative. LibrePCB is a free and open source electronics design automation (EDA) software suite to develop professional printed circuit boards (PCBs). LibrePCB is developing a completely new user interface as part of a major new release, and will be switching from Qt to Slint. As LibrePCB is a complex application with many rich user interface elements, this project will add a number of new features to Slint to pave the way for these features - notably Rich Text support, keyboard shortcuts and 2-way key bindings.
