Crawler defense with iocaine
Lightweight memory-safe mechanism against undesired scraping system
Iocaine is a lightweight crawler defense system, designed to stay out of the way of humans (operators and visitors alike). Through this grant, iocaine will be made even easier to set up and operate - both by providing plugins for major reverse proxies, and through a new script module library and configuration system - and become even less visible for the human visitor by improving its crawler detection mechanism.
