TiBillet × GNU Taler
Privacy preserving payments for TiBillet ticketing/payment platform
TiBillet is an open-source ticketing and cashless payment platform used by more than 300 cultural venues, festivals, associations and third places. This project will integrate GNU Taler into TiBillet, providing an open alternative to the payment systems currently used by the platform. The work will cover Taler payment flows, cashless payments at events, QR-code payments and support for complementary currencies. It will also bring together TiBillet’s existing ticketing, wallet and point-of-sale components into a simpler architecture. The new features will be tested with existing TiBillet users and documented for deployment by other organisations. All the resulting code will be released under AGPLv3, including a reusable Django/Python Taler integration that can be used by other projects.
