Taler iOS automation
Automated testing and type generation for Taler iOS app
The aim of this project is to automate testing of the iOS Taler Wallet. We will develop a test suite to automatically execute basic app functions and generate error reports. This enables bugs to be detected before they cause disruptions in real-world use, significantly speeds up app updates, and saves developers time through automation.
A second part of the project focuses on the automated generation of Swift (iOS) and TypeScript (Wallet-Core) data types based on a shared specification. Then changes will result in compile time errors instead of crashing at runtime. We'll collaborate with the Android developers to also generate Kotlin types.
