Gajim Audio and Video Calls
E2EE calling for cross-platform versatile XMPP client
Gajim is a free and open-source instant messenger for all major desktop operating systems, such as Linux, Windows, and macOS. Based on XMPP, it enables federated and provider-agnostic communication, secured with modern encryption standards such as OpenPGP and OMEMO.
This project aims to extend Gajim's text and rich-media messaging by implementing encrypted audio and video calls, ensuring interoperability with other XMPP clients by relying on the same standard protocols based on Jingle and WebRTC (XEP-0167, XEP-0176, XEP-0177, XEP-0353).
