GNUnet PQ-migration
Modernise GNUnets cryptographic security architecture
This project aims to migrate GNUnet's cryptographic inventory and protocols to post-quantum cryptography. This includes the migration of multiple core cryptographic schemes and protocols to their PQC-alternatives, ideally in a backwards-compatible manner (drop-in replacements and hybrid schemes). Selection of suitable PQC schemes in GNUnet is challenging due to its strong attacker model and non-commodity cryptographic primitives used in its protocols such as public-key blinding and blind signatures.
