Distributed Slips Immune
Open, distributed, machine learning-based intrusion prevention system
Distributed Slips Immune advances Slips toward an open Internet Immune System: a distributed defensive architecture where computers cooperate to detect, understand, and contain attacks. The project will introduce lightweight cross-platform Slips Agents, improve continuous operation on constrained devices, develop new adaptive detection mechanisms inspired by immunology, add local containment and deception capabilities, and explore distributed AI where local models cooperate on security decisions. At its core, SlipsNet will provide the coordination layer that lets peers exchange alerts, evidence, trust signals, and learned knowledge, turning individual Slips deployments into a cooperative, self-regulated defense system for the local network.
