DSK
Management system for Fediverse content creation and publication
When institutions pivot their social media presence from proprietary platforms to decentralised ActivityPub based social media, they often struggle with the comparative lack of professional planning and management interfaces for (multichannel) social media. This project will develop a social media management tool integrating the major Fediverse services: Mastodon, Mobilizon, Peertube, PixelFed and Loops. Features include an editorial management system for content creation, different roles and permissions (to make it easy to onboard new members of a team), a ticketsystem for mentions and direct messages, GDPR compliant analytics and metrics, and smart features for automatic imports from RSS and promoting content across platforms with either retoots or reminders that events are happening. As such this project will help non-profits and public institutions to manage their broader presence on the Fediverse.
