Python Web Calendaring Ecosystem
iCalendar, CalDAV, and JMAP in Python
The Python calendaring ecosystem is a collection of open source libraries that implement the iCalendar, CalDAV, and JMAP standards for reading, writing, and synchronizing calendar data. Calendaring applications that depend on the Python calendaring ecosystem can create alarms, schedule one-time or recurring events, invite attendees, and perform other calendaring tasks. In this project several new libraries will be introduced - for JMAP calendar support, protocol-agnostic sync, and Django integration. Together the packages icalendar, python-caldav, recurring-ical-events, and open-web-calendar form the foundation of calendar support for a broad range of Python applications.
