Reverse engineer communication protocols in r-net based electronic wheelchairs
Open Wheelchair is a project that aims to build open-source controllers for electronic wheelchairs. This allows end-users better customizability based on their needs. It also allows discarded electronic wheelchairs to be repurposed into new devices/projects, instead of being thrown away. The Open Wheelchair project initially aims to build an open-source joystick replacement for R-net wheelchairs. Thanks to its open APIs, third parties can get started quickly with their wheelchair project, without having to know all the internals of the particular wheelchair.
