MANET voice communicator

Short-range voice communicator based on MANET technology

This project develops an open-hardware device for short-range (up to 3 km) voice communication using MANET technology, enabling fully decentralized radio networks without the need for base stations or licenses. It is designed for scenarios where conventional infrastructure is destroyed/unavailable, such as during hiking, search-and-rescue team activities, and natural disasters or military operations. The project will provide complete documentation – including schematics, firmware, 3D-printable enclosure files, and assembly instructions – using only widely available, permit-free components to ensure high device repairability and minimize electronic waste.
