Flock XR for Data Science
Data visualisations for VR-based visual coding environment
Flock XR is a visual creativity and coding tool to create 3D experiences in a web browser. Flock XR allows anyone to create apps relevant to the virtual worlds that they use socially. Flock XR is a modern application designed for users who may have older hardware and limited data access, taking young people’s rights, safety and data privacy very seriously. Through creating with Flock XR, people develop technical and creative skills such as coding and working in 3D space with 3D models and animations. They can create using spatial computing features including VR, Augmented Reality, 3D printing and spatial audio. Flock XR is being developed with an inclusion first approach using co-design techniques with young people. In this grant, the project will be adding data science features so that users can create data visualisations, simulations and "digital twins".
