FabexCNC

Generate CAM toolpaths for CNC machines

FabexCNC is an open-source solution for generating CAM toolpaths for CNC machines. It uses the same CAM library (opencamlib) as FreeCAD but instead is available as an Extension for Blender. This gives users the design tools of Blender, access to its thousands of extensions, and broad platform support. FabexCNC allows users to create their own 2D or 3D designs, and import existing 3D, image (vector and raster) and text files; calculate toolpaths or multi-job chains for 3+ Axis machines (including time and cost estimates); simulate the jobs and export them as Gcode files to be run on a CNC. With a large variety of post-processors, milling strategies, cutting tool options, CNC machine and job presets and the option to create your own presets, strategies and post-processors, FabexCNC gives users the freedom to completely customize their tools to fit their shop and workflow.
