Meet the Funders at 39C3

Some of us at NLnet will be going to the 39th Chaos Communication Congress. Like previous years we'll be doing a self-organized event together with Prototype Fund and Sovereign Tech Agency.

The session Meet the Funders: Sovereign Tech Agency, NLnet, Prototype Fund will take place on Day 3 at 14.30 at SoS Workshop D. In this session people from three funders of free and open source technologies will answer questions. We'll start with a short introduction of each fund but the largest part of the session is reserved for individual questions.

At this meetup you will have the opportunity to meet team members from the following funds:

The Prototype Fund supports software developers, designers and other creatives in transforming their ideas from a concept into a software prototype. Together we explore and test new ways for technical and social innovations as open source software from society and for society.

The Sovereign Tech Agency supports the development, improvement and maintenance of open digital infrastructure. Our goal is to sustainably strengthen the open source ecosystem. We focus on security, resilience, technological diversity, and the people behind the code.

And us, NLnet. We have been financially supporting organizations and people that contribute to an open information society since 1997. We fund those with ideas to fix the internet. The procedure is fast, competitive and open to anyone.
